@Lemon46 Okayy I found the issue, your mod is alright turns out installing Liberty city somehow messes with Scripthook. After replacing it again the mod works fine
@Lemon46 ı have a question how can ı change the key to arrows?
@ssmillian45 In the .ini, change the keybinding to "Left", "Up", "Right" or "Down" for the respective arrows.
@H8DiDOne Yeah we have to! Thanks yet again!
@Shark_boy_Anil Ah alright, glad you got it to work!
@Lemon46 yes okey but when ı change the keys to numpad numbers and whenever ı turn the right or left indicators blinking how to prevent it?
@ssmillian45 @ssmillian45 That's an issue with the gamepad part of the script. I'm working on a fix for this. In the mean time, set the keybinds for gamepad to "None" unless you use gamepad for indicators.
@Lemon46 Yeah okey thanks we'll wait for your update :)
Great mod thank you!
My setup:
Controller (1.1):
Left indicator: LS ( horn)
Right indicator: RS (look behind)
Both indicators: DpadDown
This setup works well enough to enjoy with a controller. Turning left just bumps the horn briefly... honestly barely noticeable. Turning right gives you a quick glance... again barely noticeable. DpadDown activates both indicators (hazard lights). I've tested this extensively during casual gameplay and it is enjoyable.
Thank you @Lemon46 for this mod!
Question @Lemon46 or to anyone else who may know:
Is it possible to edit the controller configuration so that you can activate the signals by using a combination of buttons?
For example:
left turn signal = press & hold dPadDown + press X
right turn signal = press & hold dPadDown + press B
both turn signals (hazards) = press & hold dPadDown + press Y
If this is possible, may be the perfect solution for controller support. Thank you.!
@ModAddict Thanks for you review. As of now, there is no way to bind multiple gamepad buttons to activate the indicators. Though, I am working on an update which allows this. It will be released in the very near future.
Worked flawless and its clean indicators turn on without delay great mods. Just one problem im hoping you can help with. I use WASD keys for driving, the indicators turn on automatically when i steer or brake. I set the keys to J K and L for left both and right respectively. is it possible to make them only work with the keys i've set in INI file?
@whitewolf94 It's a bug caused by current gamepad controls. I'm working on a fix for this in the new version that will be released very soon. Thank you for your review!
Hello it´s a great mod but is there a way to make them a bit more "noticeable" i mean to make them brighter, maybe its also my GTA but they are barely seeable
@DNJustin You can change light brightness in your visualsettings.dat file. I recommend downloading for example "Better Emergency Lights", it makes pretty much all lighting brighter, including the indicator lights.
I changed the key button to the number Left Indicator=1 Right Indicator=3 but the button doesn't work, is there a solution?
@Aheee For keyboard, you just need to use the key name for the controls, for example X to bind the indicator to the X key on the keyboard. Only controller keys require numbers.
@DNJustin It's simple go to mods<update<update.rpf<common<data<visualsettings.dat and change the following lines
from
car.indicator.day.emissive.on 10.00
car.indicator.night.emissive.on 10.00
to
car.indicator.day.emissive.on 1500.00
car.indicator.night.emissive.on 1500.00
(Recommended value 1200-1500)
If you need more visibility with your headlights on, then change
car.headlight.day.emissive.on 25.00
car.headlight.night.emissive.on 15.00
to
car.headlight.day.emissive.on 15.00
car.headlight.night.emissive.on 14.00
You can adjust all the values as per your need
very useful!! Thank u
