Description
So i really don't know why i'm releasing this, as there's in fact nothing to "release", the archive merely contains instructions (text file), which you can also find below.
But i know for a fact that some people were interested by this. So here goes nothing.
So what it is ? What does it do ?
Well, i was annoyed by the fact that the pedestrians, after getting tased or (more randomly) getting shot would lie writhing in pain on the floor for three seconds flat before invariably dying. Every single fucking time, with the same exact timing.
So i started fiddling around with health values and various other shit, yet the results were the same : the pedestrian would invariably die after three seconds when entering the writhe animation. As a last resort i went the hammer way, and straight deleted the animation file which i thought was responsible for this nonsense.
And guess what, it worked. To some extent, read the last notes.

Some pedestrians will still die three seconds after entering the writhe animation and any contact (if you hit or walk on them, even lightly, if another ped walk on them, or if they hit a wall for exemple) will instantly kill them and they will obviously stop playing the animation. There's probably some other factors, but i'm not aware of them.
I know this is far from being a perfect solution, but this is all i have to offer. Besides if you have a better idea, or a better way to handle things, i will gladly remove my mod for your better solution. But until then this will do.
I'm sure this could be achieved in a better way using scripts, but i ain't no scripter, no no.

- Navigate to Grand Theft Auto V \ x64c.rpf \ anim \ ingame \ clip_combat@.rpf
- Activate edit mode
- A backup of that file is included in the archive, but i still strongly suggest you save that animation file somewhere just in case
- Remove (delete) combat@death@from_writhe.ycd
- Disable edit mode
- Enjoy !

Is there a way to remove writhe completely?
@Fuzsion im NOT asking what this is.. im talking about the glitch it creates
@alcrd I'm aware, however, it makes sense if you think about the file that you are deleting.
So does this work with other guns as well or just this Electric Taser ?
Sadly, doesn't seem to work anymore with the latest version of gta V - Seems like Rockstar added some check of files included in the archives and now during the loading (if the combat file is missing) game throws up an engine error during loading. We have to wait for scripters fix :/
(Or it is conflicting with euphorias mod, highly possible) Anyways, rating 4 since this fix has worked in the past 100%
Nevermind, I f*cked it up, deleted the whole combat archive instead of that one file - Rating 5 :)
is there anyway you can make it longer to hotwire a car??
and can you make a ped burning last way longer? like fire damage decrease??
Deleted @deathfromwrithe and the peds shoot at you and then die they never keep writhing any ideas??

Every time I try to start up the game after deleting the anim file it says the game is corrupt. I've done this multiple times and I've made sure that I'm deleting only one file and the correct file. Is it because Open IV is not allowed for GTA now or something? Please help if you can.
But what happen then? They get up? Or lay down forever? I dont understand why GTA5 was made dumber than GTA4 in 5 people die from fist to the head! WTH?! In 4 they got up and flee limping! Now in 5 they are so fragile! This makes no sense! Now with mods I can play this game longer because when it was released I was disgusted by gta redesign of stuff that was good in gta4 into pathetic and dumb things. Why they decide to make peds die so easily?! It feels bad to get into fight because som ped was talking shit on me then attack me and I won fist fight and he dies! Medics cannot even help him because he is dead! It makes no sense why they made it that dumb. As for mod it lacks description on what happen instead. I am early in game I have no taser I cannot test it. Is it work only for tasers? Do it work for fist fight or something else?
This does not work the game wont open after i delete the file.

did you replace it with the old file (backup) or did u just delete it completely without replacing?
@littlefilms i know im a lot late but im also having the same problem. after removing the file it just redownloads it with rockstar auto updater.

Yeah that's the problem dude you need to play offline when using mods that alter you base game or else rockstar will be like "nah mate let's change this back"

For some reason the original here on gta5.com is missing or taken down but here's the mod from another site, im not sure if it's safe though.
After putting the ASI files in your gta 5 folder, make a shortcut of GTA5.exe and put in on your desktop and launch your game from there.
I recommend making a duplicate of your Gta 5 game folder before doing this, one for mods and one to play online.

@Drkz You might want to change install instructions. You don't need to delete the vanilla file in the main directory, but in the mod folder instead. I copied the x64c.rpf to the mod folder, then deleted the file in there instead of the main directory. It works as intended.
