RCAF paint for the SkylineGTRFreak's UH-1Y.
For Stand Alone install:
https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/uh-1y-venom
You probably have it in the Helicopter and/or WarpackUSA packages.
Once installed with their instructions, open the dlc.rpf with OpenIV
Follow this path to the file to overwrite:
Stand alone: /x64/dlcpacks/mpheist/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles/mpheistvehicles.rpf, follow SkylineGTRFreak's instructions.
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\helicopters\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\helicoptersvehicles.rpf\
or
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\warpackusa\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\
If you wish to retain the original liveries, while in OpenIV, extract the file uh1y.ytd. I typically extract the original .ytd to the same folder as the dlc.rpf and rename it to origuh1y.ytd.
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\helicopters\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\helicoptersvehicles.rpf\uh1y.ytd
or
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\warpackusa\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\vehicles.rpf\uh1y.ytd
Just to confirm the livery, I'd click on the uh1y.yft or uh1y_hi.yft file to open the OpenIV Model Viewer to see what the model will look like with the new livery.
Once satisfied, close the model viewer and run GTAV and spawn uh1y with the trainer of your choice.
In case you'd like to add your own paint, I've included my work files in case you'd like to use it as a starting point for your own projects.
Enjoy,
Gillman
