For The GTAV MiG-21
Here https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/mig-21-j-7-f-7-pack-add-on-replace
Once installed with their instructions, open the dlc.rpf with OpenIV
Follow this path to the file to overwrite:
...D:\Program Files\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mig21\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\mig21vehicles.rpf\mig21.ytd
I've included the orginal mig21.ytd file(mig21Orig.ytd) in case you ever want to revert back.
When ready to overwrite with the Mig-21 livery, toggle "Edit mode", top right button, and drag mig21.ytd from the extracted zip file and drop here:
...\GTAV\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mig21\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles\mig21vehicles.rpf\mig21.ytd
After you have the mig21.ytd file, edit it with the Texture Toolkit, rename the current 8668040d texture to 8668040dORIG (the included USSR texture is the original), then rename the desired texture to 8668040d. There are textures for Bare Metal (no roundels or camo), Bulgaria, Croatia, Cuba, Egypt, Finland, India, North Korea, Romania, Syria, Uganda, Ukraine and USSR.
Just to confirm the livery, I'd click on the mig21.yft file to open the OpenIV Model Viewer to see what the model will look like with the new livery.
Once satisfied, close the model viewer and run GTAV and spawn mig21 with the trainer of your choice.
If anyone can figure out how to add livery support, you've got my permission to use my mig21 texture files.
Enjoy,
Gillman
