V1.2 Update is now available for download.
Feel free to leave your feedback, suggestions, or bug reports in the comments. I’ll continue improving and updating this mod based on player feedback and anything that needs to be fixed or improved.
Thank you for the support, and I hope you enjoy the new update.
@kaanasd I just changed the menu "Z"key in the .cs file (in my case only two lines in Notepad, to "W") and it works. Depends on what keyboard layout you have. Now i can finally play without having to reconfigure everything. Search for these two lines where "Z" appears and change them to your convenience. >> private void OnKeyDown(object sender, KeyEventArgs e)
{
if (Game.GameTime < inputCooldownUntil)
return;
if (e.KeyCode == Keys.Z) and ShowImmediateAlert("~r~ChaosGangWar V 1.1 Active~n~~w~Press ~y~Z~w~ to open menu", 3000);
}
;)
@Abrar20 I already fixed it, five minutes ago, see my comment. Great mod btw! :)
@7777N Thank you for understanding, and I really appreciate the compliment about the mod.
I’m glad you found a temporary fix by changing the key manually. In the next V1.2 update, I’m planning a major improvement update with controller support, configurable keybinds, an .ini file, gameplay fixes, and a new menu design with more customization options for users.
Thanks again for the feedback and support. I’ll make sure V1.2 feels much better for everyone, including AZERTY keyboard users.
Great mod. Can’t wait to see what’s coming in next update
Ah yes, I saw it and changed it. Now I open and close it with Y. The mod is really great, well done friend, here's to many more great mods ☺
@Abrar20 Oh, always glad to help, my friend. Keep the good things going.:)
@Abrar20 yo whats up bro? what kinda graphics mod did you use in the screenshots of the version you just posted on gta5mod(.net)? The clouds look insane on those, thats definitely not the default QuantV look...
@Ballsy Yes bro, I’m using QuantV. QuantV includes several add-on presets, and you can adjust them directly from the QuantV menu depending on the look you want.
For the V1.0 screenshots, I also did some extra lighting edits to make the images look more cinematic. Glad you noticed the clouds, bro 🙂
V1.2 is coming very soon. Stay tuned, I’m preparing a big update for this mod!
Hey friend, the new update is great, but I have a question. How did you add those trees? There are trees everywhere, it looks amazing! Is there a name or link to the mod?
hi thx u for this mod its a great mod i love it ,
but im playing with azerty since the last update i cant use it :(
@kaanasd Thank you, my friend. For the trees and world detail, I’m using a mod called Lively World Expansion. Unfortunately, it is a paid mod, but it really helps make the city feel more alive and detailed.
@Bigsossa Thank you so much for liking my mod, I really appreciate it. And yes, in this update I received some feedback about the menu controls, so I improved the menu and added more options to make it more comfortable for users to play.
Damn bro the new update looks so cool, and i like the new menu design, this mods deserve high rating :)
@Papychulos Thank you so much, bro. I’m glad you like the new update and the menu design. I’ll keep improving this mod with more fixes, features, and better gameplay in future updates 🙂
thx u its a great mod
@Abrar20 is it possible to add a FIFO logic regarding the bodies despawn on death, for example having a maximum of 4 bodies? my question is because i think that despawning death enemies is an immersion-breaking, if so, do you accept contributions to the mod?
@QuesoEMano Yes, I understand what you mean.
The current instant cleanup system was originally added to reduce FPS drops and help prevent crashes. During longer battles, there can be a large number of gang members, police units, and other entities spawning over time. If dead bodies keep stacking up without any cleanup, it can affect both performance and stability.
That being said, your FIFO idea is a good suggestion. Keeping a limited number of dead bodies, for example the last 4 bodies, and only removing the oldest one when the limit is exceeded, could make the battles feel more realistic while still keeping performance under control.
I may consider adding this as an optional menu setting in a future update, so users can adjust the body cleanup limit based on their own preference and PC performance.
Regarding contributions, yes, I’m very open to suggestions, bug reports, testing feedback, feature improvements, and other ideas. Any feedback from the community really helps me improve the mod. Thanks for the suggestion!
@QuesoEMano use persistant bodies mod in combo with this.
