@Treyson27 Seriously, it doesn't matter if this mod is enabled or disabled, characters will ALWAYS put on a helmet. Yes, it loads and even opens te menu but does absolutely nothing. Any clue why?
Why should I care?
Noice.
it doesn't work. i have script hook V (.net, too) and native ui installed. the menu is there, it just doesn't change anything when i flip it on.
is nativeiu installed by just putting nativeui.dll in the scripts folder or do i have to do sth. other than that?
nvm, i started the game up again and now it works. no idea y.
thx for the mod :)
Great! Thanks!
sweet good job man!
@Kwebbl Which Trainers? Can't find it in Menyoo - whats the option called?
@House Rushton It's not in Menyoo
I've put the files in my scripts folder, but its still putting on the danged helmet! I can load the menu, click enable - it says Mod already enabled. Ok, great. Get on a bike and he puts the helmet on straight away! whaaaat. I have the required ScriptHook and .NET and NativeUI.
great mod, i can finally not put my helmet on
@kwebbl which trainer ?
Arf it s not working with Menyoo and simple trainer
@Treyson27 >is there a way to make no ped have helmets ?
@SacredFrostbite if you don't care then way waste time commenting you spastic
not working @ALL
menu was not necessary. anyone can just delete rename or move the dll.
For those who can't get this to work, try this fix. Mine was not working either until I did this. I had 2 mods that were using the F11 key for their menus (the other was a dismemberment mod). So I moved the NativeUI.dll (the UI for nohelmet) outside of the scripts folder, started the game then went into my dismemberment mod menu and changed the menu key to F10. Then moved NativeUI.dll back into the scripts folder, started the game and viola, no more helmets. The bottom line is make sure another mod is not also using the F11 key for its menu. Alternatively, in the NoHelmet.ini you can assign another key for the nohelmet menu as well, just make sure no other mod uses that key for its menu. Hope this helps someone.
perfect man i love it
I can't delete my old comment, but what I wrote was incorrect so I'm making this to correct my mistake. In my particular scenario, the NoHelmet mod not working was due to a conflict with the dismemberment mod. Both mods were using the F11 key for their mod menu. My solution was: move the nohelmet files (NoHelmet.dll & NoHelmet.ini) out of your scripts folder temporarily, I started up the game, went into my dismemberment mod menu by pressing F11, and there was an option to change the menu key so I changed it to F10, saved the changes in the menu's "saved changes" option, shut off the game, placed the NoHelmet files back into the scripts folder, and that fixed the NoHemlet mod not working. If you suspect your issue is also related to a mod conflict, try removing the above mentioned NoHelmet files from the scripts folder, and checking whether or not F11 is in use by another mod and then try to change it if you can. Alternatively, you can try to open up the NoHelmet.ini and the line that says "Open-Key=F11", change F11 to another key that is not in use by another mod or mod menu.
