This update adds an option to change Helicopter propeller speed.
If the Helicopter Propeller speed is to low the helicopter will not take off ( that is awesome isn't it )

I think what zzcool and raburs is asking is to make the propeller speed increase when holding W (VehicleAccelerate control) and decrease when not holding the control. To link the plane/helicopter speed to the speed of the propeller you can probably use _SET_VEHICLE_ENGINE_TORQUE_MULTIPLIER; only set it to 1.0f if the propeller speed is at the maximum value, and set lower (greater than 0f but lower than 1f) when the propeller speed is not at the maximum. @Riovissoman is it possible for smoother increase in engine speed ?? Absolutely no offense but the jet engines sounds like blender when speed is increased so instead of just 1x 2x 3x etc can we get a smooth increase just as normal as in game and it would be great if u can implement what @stillhere said. I don't have any scripting knowledge but just asking 😉

I do understand what you mean, I do not controll the sound of the Engine but i do control the sound of the Propellers,
The script is set on 0.1f so any smoother so it's not using 1x, 2x, 3x, i do have to find a way to slow it down some more for you.

But i'm having trouble with bugs atm.
@stillhere is helping me <3 But i do not have much time everyday and i try what i can do make this for you guys. I can't prommis you all that i can get this working but i do prommis i try the best as i could.
@stillhere also found a bug, So the next update will be to fix the bug.

But know i''m doing what i can to understand how this needs to be made :-)

Version 1.3. @stillhere found a bug
that people with 60 FPS, there blade speed will increased twice as fast as someone with 30 FPS! This should now be fixed in version 1.3 thanks to @stillhere <3

In 1.3 also the speed of the blade has been changed a litle see if it's a bit smoother?
I can edit it and send you a link so you could test it and see if thats what you mean :P

@Riovissoman thanks for being so responsive.The mod is pretty awesome with all turboprobs and propeller driven aircarfts.The issue that I pointed out was with jets.I said 1x 2x coz I thought you were using bigger values than 0.1 and there is no need for u to do an individual customization 😄😉 XD.

@Riovissoman for smoothness check out linear interpolation. Something like this: f1 + (f2 - f1) * amount; So set new blade speed to the linear interpolation of your goal. This is the same method that scripthookdotnet uses for vector3.lerp. I found what works best is to make the goal(f2) a small increment from f1. And the amount will determine how fast it will increase. I hope this helps.

Its very bizarre because when I installed this mod, Propellers moved so slow that any vehicles with them cant take off at all. You'd think it is a cosmetic effect but apparently it isn't. Still it looks like it is a good mod so.

i'm wondering i you could share the code sir? i'm might connect this to my speed control mod and and i'm going to work with the auto W depending on speed. thanks sir have a nice day.

your mod has lots off error....for example : when the propellers are not spinning the plane still can take off no matter what

Can you do it with plane's brake ? helicopter can brake, but plane can not brake
