Nice.
Good idea but does this mean we can't turn off the radio once we install your mod? @TrenTech
@Noname you can as long as lock station is set to false in the config. As of yet you cant set the default station to off. Working on it.
@TrenTech Simple, but cool mod!
A suggestion, even though I have no idea how possible it would be. To make a mod that saves the last station you listened to in a car...
@sgtpowerweiner Its possible. I've been working on an update that will do something similar. It will set your preferred station when you enter a new vehicle, then save the current station if you exit, but that information is only kept for the life of the game. To conserve memory it'll only save up to 5 cars, wiping the information of the oldest vehicle first. So basically the last 5 cars you enter will retain the station they are set to.
@TrenTech awesome idea dude, I added a video.
@TrenTech Thats awesome! I appreciate the work youre putting into this! Hell, the mod as is right now is awesome, just wish we had an option to turn the radio off too
@sgtpowerweiner I'm uploading an update right now that fixes that problem. Setting Preferred-Station to 0 will now turn off the radio.
@TrenTech Does this mod stop the game from turning off the radio to play the damn movie score every time the player enters a vehicle while in a mission? I REALLY want to disable Rockstar's "dynamic" in game score. I just want the MP3 radio as it was in the prior GTA games.
@Ed Venture I don't know, I haven't tested that. I have to admit, I spend more time modifying the game than I do playing it.
Does It works for GTA Online too?
@ArtoriasDrakus probably not but I've never tried. It doesn't add or alter anything so its possible but I'm not going to push my luck
thanks
