The tool is now updated to v1.5 with some new features: changing the menu key, saving and loading custom colours, and an option to automatically repair and clean the car when applying colour changes like in LSC.
It now creates a configuration file on first run to store the settings and saved colours. I've tried to make it fairly robust so that you can add new colours to the config file manually if needed - most of the fields should be fairly self-explanatory. You don't need to include every field for each saved colour either, there's sane defaults for each missing field so just the RGB fields or hex field alone is enough to work. It's worth mentioning though that if you have both RGB values and a hex code entered for a saved colour the hex code will always take precedence if they differ.
Apologies it's taken a little while - things like the menu option for changing the menu key took a bit of fiddling to get working, and every time I had a chance to work on it ScriptHookV was broken by R*!
dont work for me
Dumb question, but... how safe is this to use Online?
@WildFire418 There's RGB sliders, NativeUI doesn't really have any controls that could be used as a colour wheel though.
@AnarchyBlues I don't condone any attempted online use of this mod - please don't even try it.
@pez2k
I did. It works. And given recent events and I think we all should start condoning it.
how to get the x80 protto? which mod is the best
@logandoyle39 I use Simple Trainer V.
@pez2k Can you add RGB for wheels, trim, accents and pearlescent?
@HOTLER The game only supports RGB for primary and secondary colours, for the rest you can only select from the preset colours.
Am I stupid or does something need to be updated to make it work?
@pez2k Does this allow colours for dashboards etc. on all cars? Cause in normal GTA you can only do that with Benny's cars.
pasame ese auto... o similar
@Ryzer2904 It allows for vehicles that have them. Not all of them do.
@pez2k Is it possible to enable saved colors for accents and wheels?
am i missing something the menu won't show up. i have both script hook v dot net and native ui installed
The mod works perfectly for me, I love it, so I can model car colors in story mode, it would be great if you added the other metal textures, like brushed black steel
Still works like a charm in SP, any way to use it in FiveM?
@Unsearchably Doesnt work for me even tho i have both requirements installed could you please help?
Is there some way to increase the scroll speed when navigating through the menus?
@GranForTheWin Just reinstalled it on the latest version of the game and it still works perfectly, so the only thing I can think of is that you either: A. Have a different version of NativeUI installed (like INM's) or B. You have a conflicting mod.
@TooterGoBoom Get a better PC. I'm not taking the piss, that's literally the only way to increase the scroll speed, it's bound to the framerate. Mine is actually way too fast 'cause I run the game at 100+ FPS.
Could you please add selecting colors in the HSL color space? Or is there source code available so I could implement it myself? RGB is not great when you're trying to find the right color.
Wherever you are, I hope you're doing ok and nobody ate you. 👍
