Overview
This mod does basically what it says in the tin; watch the video to get a better idea of what it does.
This mod does NOT cheat (in other words, it does not modify any handling and/or grip characteristics, nor does it modify physics). It almost works like its real-life counterpart: it analyzes forward wheel slip and makes millisecond adjustments to the user's input to compensate. Not to be confused with a full-fledged ESP; steering input will still make the vehicle slide.
Useful for people playing with keyboards, especially when driving high-torque low-traction vehicles (e.g., muscle cars, Michael's car when fully juiced).
Compatible with everything and anything. Configurable activation key and image.
Requires
Script Hook V (https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v)
Community Script Hook V .NET (https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net)
Installation
Unzip to your MAIN GTA V FOLDER.
Use
Press the engage/disengage key (default: "K")
Configuration
You can modify TractionControlSystem.ini to configure:

SHOW: Show (1) or hide (0) the button image for TCS.
ONLYSHOWIMAGEWHENACTIVE: Only show the TCS image when TCS is engaged.
POS_X and POS_Y: X and Y position of the button on your screen. From 0, 0 (top-left) to 1280, 720 (bottom-right).

Notice that starting on v1.0, script developers can activate/deactivate TCS from your scripts. Just make a reference to the TCS DLL and set TractionControlSystem.TCSactive to true (engaged) or false (disengaged).
Great mod, got a idea for it too: make the TCS icon flash when wheel spin is detected.
@Razorwings18 for some reason it doesnt work on some of the vehicles how do i change that
@Razorwings18 This traction control thing only works when going forward, not reversing?
@Razorwings18 Out of curiosity, would it be possible have a toggable option for Xbox One controllers to enable vibration feedback in the triggers like Forza has?
In Forza, the trigger vibration occurs when you are loosing traction from pressing one of them. So if pressing LT to brake, and loosing traction, LT vibrates. If your pressing RT for the gas, and loosing traction, RT vibrates. The trigger feedback intensifies the harder it is pressed.
Also, when ABS is on, when you brake and loose traction, the vibration feedback in the left trigger adds more realism since the brake peddle vibrates when ABS activates.
@Razorwings18 any update?
sadly, since the new GTA update, this script isn't working in my game anymore. It'a a shame because I really like this mod.
update this mod
@Razorwings18
Had regera going crazy with my personal realistic handling mod... This balanced that!
***IMPORTANT***
I have an idea... Can you customise this mod to be vehicle specific? with an ini file where we can enter model name and traction control option would be available for that and only that vehicle only... along with support for add-on cars.
For example, if we make an entry of "adder" in the ini file, adder will now have traction control option that could be turned on with a touch of a button. Just as in real life!!!
Lemme know if you can do this.
Any way of getting this to work with FiveM?
dont work as need :(
@Razorwings18 can you update this cool little mod plz.....latest shv has broken it
@Razorwings18 Can you make TCS feature a vehicle specific.... maybe add a .txt listing vehicles in which TCS can be activated. Vehicles not in the list will not have TCS. Just as in real life? Man! That'd be so cool!!!
@Razorwings18 This is a wonderful mod. I will say it really FINALLY!! I was really mad about trying to edit torque multiplier to have the vehicle not skid at the initial acceleration.
Really thank you so so much. By the by, is there by any chance you can make the same thing happen when you reverse as well? It does very nicey and smooth acceleration forward but at the reverse it's revving the engine as usual and tires starts skidding ://
This mod does exactly what its says.. its a five star for me
Hi @Razorwings18 , I noticed while the traction control is active it's cutting down the car's max speed as well. While it's on, I'm making 140 mph top speed and when I turn it off it goes up to 170 mph top speed. Could you perhaps make the script activates only between a selected speed? Say 0 - 30 mph. Because after that speed car doesn't really needing traction control anyway.
I have it installed correctly according to your directions + the requirements and it doesn't work. I even reinstalled the game and it doesn't work so somethings wrong with it.
this mod is great but i want somthing to drive slow in gta like city mode or somthing
can you make simple mod like this to drive like npcs :D?
It´s very good, I wish it would smoothen the acceleration itself a bit more (also between gears) to get a smoother driving experience and also the breaking but it kinda works for now. It´s cool that is has the symbol so you can see inactive/active
@Razorwings18
Hey man. This might sound weird but could you do a script which only shows the symbol active/deactivated by button press without making anything else?
I followed all steps but when I click K nothing happens and I don't see the TCS icon. Please help
