Yes, you read correctly, we can now replace vanilla cars and still have the replacer's original tuning parts. To achieve this I had to create an add-on for the tuning parts & .meta data.
Requires baba0rum's 57' Thunderbird and 57' Bel Air installed as replacer. The rest of the install included.

!!!Attention!!! Anyone who already has baba0rum's add-on installed you only need the data from this carvariations.meta added to baba0rum's for replace tuning to work.
@bigd822 I didn't deleted the content of tuning ".rpf" files for these cars, so I'll try.
@bigd822 Nothing, it keep doing the same, no tuning and if I modify "carvariations.meta" of baba0rum2 pack to include Peyote and Tornado tuning parts working and I spawn some of these 2 cars, my game crash.
If you have Add-On baba0rum2's pack and replace version also installed, can you send me your "baba0rum2" DLC folder. With this method I could see if the problem is something I did wrong or what, because for you it seems to work now, no?
@Reyser You're getting a crash in-game after spawning either car? Never had that happen. And sorry but I don't have baba0rum's add-on installed. I've combined all add-ons I like into one big pack and have added 18 more replacers to this one.
@bigd822 Yep, I want to keep these cars installed on my game as replace (that I can, but without tuning parts) (if can be with baba0rum2's too, but isn't a priority), but this is causing my game to be so much unstable, when with other mods never happened ;S
@Reyser If you have baba0rum's add-on you don't need this one. Remove this add-on & add Peyote & Tornado to the carvariations.meta in his addon & it should work.
@bigd822 I already did this yesterday, that's what's causing crash when I spawn Peyote or Tornado. Also I tried without babaorum's Add-On, but no tuning parts for replace.
@Reyser Well, I'm stumped, I've never had my game crash from just spawning a car, motorcycle, yes, but not a car.
@bigd822 Ok, deleted all peyote and tornado files and reinstalled, this worked, now cars won't crash my game. Now the problem is that I don't get working tuning parts for both cars w/o "aprilfools" dlc folder installed. Any idea for this?
@Reyser Try adding 0_default_modkit to carvariations & see if it still crashes.
@bigd822 But now I don't have crashes, only not working tuning parts.
"Now the problem is that I don't get working tuning parts for both cars w/o "aprilfools" dlc folder installed. Any idea for this?"
@Reyser Just make sure the ID numbers are the same in carcols & carvariations & you should be good.
@bigd822 Finally I got tuning parts for Tornado changing ID's "906" to "910", now I have to see if they works for Peyote.
@Reyser Glad to hear it.
@bigd822 And finally, I got both cars working correctly ;D | I don't know why this happens, but I discovered that (OpenIV or game) was causing the crashes I had because the files were damaged inside "patchday3ng" after some tries starting the game.
Maybe you "should" delete some or all of our previous comments because we spammed a bit the comments section XD.
Anyway, thanks for the help, I love to see these cars on the streets of Los Santos ;)
@bigd822 Love the premise of this, but the game crashes for me on the loading screen (the 1st one with the lady). I more or less followed your instructions. Do I need to modify my gameconfig? I'm on version 617 and this is my only addon as of now.
@Slapnuts It's been so long since I installed GTA I can't remember if a modified gameconfig is necessary for add-ons. You will have to modify it at some point so I would try that. Follow this guide --> http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/55538-hard-limit-for-custom-car-models/ <-- and set the numbers really high, like 9999.
Also, what error are you getting on crash, the red "corrupt game data" or the standard "GTAV has stopped working"?
@bigd822 It's not corrupt game data, it's the standard error. I'm re-installing the game, but I dunno if I want to take the risk once again. I've tried a modified gameconfig, but it did nothing :P
I get corrupt game data @bigd822
@bigd822 I have another pack that uses the same cars and its tuning parts. "Community '50s Cars DLC" while having the tornado and peyote also replaced. Should I do the same thing as with your sugeston of copying the Tornado and Peyote carvariations data from your DLC pack into that one? Currently having both installed causes my game to be unstable!
I was able to get this working fine. The only thing I noticed is the exhaust options for the T-Bird seem to be the same as for the Bel Air & do not line up correctly. But, if it wasn't for this mod I wouldn't be able to customize the T-Bird at all, so it's well worth it.
