SOME INFO ABOUT THE MAKING OF THE TEXTURE. WORTH A READ.
The texture I chose to make is actually based on Pennsylvania State Troopers. However I decided to make it for Los Santos instead as it obviously fits the map. During the research for making the texture, I noticed two versions of the CVPI. One had a chevron on the rear bumper and the other didn't. For this I chose to use the chevron version. It is definitely possible for a second version with the option for the chevron and without. As there is eight texture slots, I made eight units (whether there actually true units).
INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW.
The textures go for YCA-RE’s CVPI but they might also fit for some other CVPIs as long as YCA-RE was the original author. I have used the SHERIFF slot for my CVPI State Trooper but it could also go in any vehicle slot.

INSTALLATION:
1. You need OpenIV for this!
2. Go to: gtavdirectory/mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday3ng/dlc/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles
3. Either scroll and find the vehicle slot or type it in the search bar.
4. Click on “sheriff.ytd”.
5. Replace the eight texture slots with the new textures.
FOR THOSE WHO WANTED A LSC VERSION, IT'S VERY UNLIKELY AS I HAVE OTHER PLANS.

An update on the texture. I will not be updating the texture as I have other plans to work on. Sorry if you were waiting for an update, be sure to look out for ned content.
make a grand cherokee 2004
@Josh77 I haven't made this vehicle and don't make vehicles due to inexperience. If someone does release a Grand Cherokee from any year I will take a look at the vehicle and the possibilites of completing a texture.
What in the hell? It's like the back bumper of a british police car, with the wrong colored stripe of a Pennsylvania State Police car, having a LAPD logo on the sides.
This is... uh.... different?
@Niedosik Who said it was a replica? Start to read more than look at pictures. It clearly states that it is based on Pennsylvania.
Will you make a video tut on how to properly install these or help me? Eveyones I go off of does not work :/
Los Santos isn't a state man.
@Call Of Reality Well, it's nothing at all like Pennsylvania. I like 2 miles from the barracks, I'm pretty sure I know what's close and what isn't. It's fucking horrible.
If you get a picture up, there are only very few things different. The paint, chevron and font is a bit off but I got it as close as possible. If you dont like it dont download it. @Niedosik
@HomerS Yeah its a change i'm going to make. I'll be using the original sheriff badge which is Los Santos County Sheriff.
@Call Of Reality Okay great! :)
Los Santos State Trooper? Last I remember the state was San Andreas, The skin quality on this isn't very great either. Fonts are very generic, and some of the textures are demorphed.
@OfficerLund The texture qaulity is because I didnt make it a higher resolution whereas I have now but I decided to not improve the texture.
@Call Of Reality That's not exactly what I meant. I was meaning of the overall design of itself.
