First sound replacement I've made. Replaces the pistol sound to sound a little more like a real glock 17. I'm in no way saying this is the most realistic sound mod there is!
Planned updates: I will make the shots a bit louder for the next update
Installation:
0. Download and install OpenIV: http://openiv.com/
1. Start OpenIV and select GTA V Windows.
2. Go to x64/audio/sfx/resident.rpf and press edit mode.
3. Drag weapons.oac into resident.rpf
4. Go back to sfx and go into weapons_player and drag and drop ptl_pistol.oac.
5. All done close OpenIV and start GTA V and enjoy!
If you have any issues leave a comment and I will look into it!

Youtube lowered the volume of the video, I'll see if I can fix it as soon as possible.
i only want the pistol sound not the other gun sounds that are in the file please make 1 file only change the pistol sound ;)

The sound itself is flawless in my opinion. It just isn't loud enough! Excellent work though!

How did you get such a high rate of fire? The vanilla rate of fire is so slow when I get in a gunfight!

GREAT SOUND BUT I THINK THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FLAWED! I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS AND TRIED IT 3 TIMES AND IT DIDNT WORK. I GET THE ORIGINAL GUN SOUND.. COMPARED TO OTHER INSTRUCTIONS THIS GUYS INSTRUCTIONS DONT match AT ALL. OAC. FILES I DONT THINK GO INTO AWC. FILES... SOMEONE HELP?
@TheWeirdGuy74 use the glock 18 experience the gun fire rate will be faster for all pistol
